David Spinola has been working with growth businesses as an operator, investor, and board member his entire career. 

He most recently served as the President at SproutLoud Media Networks, a leading through channel marketing automation software provider, where he oversaw and integrated all operating functions of the business, including Finance, Growth, People, and Operations.  He joined the company in 2016, as Chief Financial Officer, overseeing all the finance and accounting functions at SproutLoud. As CFO, he also held supervisory responsibility over human resources, local user engagement and Latin America operations.  David worked across departments to support growth by identifying and introducing new KPIs, implemented the Objective/Key Result framework throughout the company, and moderated the annual strategic planning process.  Previously he also served as CFO and COO at Academy Medical, a founder-owned medical sales and services business.

Prior to moving to an operating role, David spent nearly a decade as a leveraged buyout investor and board member for businesses across a wide range of industries, where he identified attractive investment opportunities, supported organic and acquisition-driven growth strategies, and aided numerous companies in successful exits.

David earned a BBA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Harvard Business School, and is a CFA Charterholder.  He currently serves as a Co-Chair of the South Florida chapter of the CFO Leadership Council, and is an active member of the Irish Angels and HBS Alumni Angels of South Florida angel investment groups.  David lives in south Florida with his wife Kelly, his twin daughters (who he loves equally) and his two goldendoodles (one of whom he definitely loves more than the other).
